This has been said a few times and it even applies to proper units too. I've now seen two types of internal coating and comparing my and a friend's rotor housings noticed a couple of subtle differences. We now know that the flywheel is held on with either 40 or 41mm nuts too. There was also a difference on the rotors- mine appears to have been hand finished with end of threads being cleaned up by hand and a date engraved on the rotor gear. The rotor out of the other motor had neither of these. Obviously my motor was blueprinted at the factory. At least that's what I'm going to keep saying to myself! As was said recently, "no two bikes are the same!"

Is the width of the rotor housing and rotor different?

Looks like lens distortion from the camera and slightly different distance (?)

Now you know how the professionals can make an average rack look awesome ! You're bad, Wayne! Or were you referring to the luggage rack on the back of a bike. I've also heard that no two racks are the same either.
