Wow... Not sure how to address that one...
An NOS instrument cover for an M went for 485.00 on ebay. An NOS secondary enrichment diaphram went for 125.00...
I will buy as many NOS carbs that you have for 400.00.
NOS parts are rare. Suzuki did not make truck loads of parts in anticipation of 40 years on...
Just my 2 cents...

As Jess said, these things aren't falling out of cereal boxes.
The seller is a member here (sorry for outing you Simon).
Simon has a number of RE items up for sale on Oz ebay at the moment.
I hope your sales go well, mate and that you hold on to an RE.

I suppose that's true. This is my first venture into the restoration world and when you only paid $600 for the entire bike, $500 including shipping takes a little getting used to. I saw an entire used carb with throttle assembly go for about $100 last summer shortly after I got my bike. If what you say is true, I may need to look up the guy with the mud dauber infested carb who offered it to me for $100 a few months ago. I'm about 90% certain he still has it. Of course I need to make sure the bike's worth putting a carb on first. Now, if I can just lay my hands on that 40mm socket...... Didn't mean to insult anybody. Just my inexperience on restorations showing through.

I guess we should put it into perspective- a Holley 650 will set you back at least 500 up to 1000 here so a nos re5 carb, just about unobtanium... if I needed one I'd be onto it!
