Hello,
After spending a lot of time cleaning the oily paste in the rear of my M I'm wondering if anyone has disabled the chain oil line to keep things clean?
Can it be disabled? Pros and Cons?
Regards,

I totaly understand. I bent my feed pipe over and tied it up about 15 years ago. (not a drip since) It used to make a write mess, i think with the new type chains and spray chain grease its alot better. Best Rog

Yes it is easily disabled. Just remove the banjo at the pump (careful that you remove the correct one) and replace with a short screw and sealing washer. No harm will come to the pump and that's the way Suzuki did it on the A model anyway.
Much, much cleaner. I just run an O ring chain but that's not necessary anyway.
