Every year I have a calendar made up for the Super Eliminator dragbikes and will do the same for 2012. I was thinking that I could have another calendar made up for the Suzuki 2 strokes and also have a picture of an RE5 on one of the months. I could put the RE5 picture on a month that is significant in the history of the RE5, such as when the first one was sold.
If I get enough interest in this project, do any of you have a really nice, high quality, large image of an RE5 that you would like to see on the calendar? Any thoughts would be appreciated and if you have a picture that I could use, send me a pm for my email address.
Also let me know if you would be interested in purchasing one of the calendars so I will be able to figure out if the project is worth doing or not. Price always ends up being $18 or $19 each plus shipping, depending on how much it costs me to have them made up. Thanks for any replies.

Put me down for 1.
My RE5 isn't up there with the best yet so have a word with Ziggystardust if you want a pretty one to feature.

Sure Jess, It would be great to have a photo of your beautiful white RE5. I haven't received a lot of photos from the 2 stroke crowd yet so even more RE5's could be put on the calendar for anyone else interested. It would be cool to have Jess's bike along with a red and a blue 75 and a nice black 76. There is going to be at least one GT750 dragbike on the calendar as I have a really nice picture of "The Hatchet" dragbike that Kevin said I could use. Anyone interested, pm me for my email address.

As you have seen, the calendars didn't come up this year. What happened was, by the time I had enough pictures to make one, they didn't go on sale again. If I paid full price for them the price would have been too high to make them priced good enough to sell. They would have ended up being around $25 plus shipping which is way too high in my opinion. I didn't want to get stuck with a lot of them. I was hoping to be able to get them and sell them for around $17 or $18 each plus shipping at the most, maybe even less depending on the sale price. So, my apologies to those of you who sent pictures. I still have them and will use them for a calendar for 2013 and possibly another project that I might be able to do this year.

I own the 1974 UK Blue Re5 that was road tested in "Bike " magazine in Feb 1975 , I have owed it for 32 years, It's not mint condition as it is used , but maybe good with the history for your calendar , Regards Roger

Steve, I have owed the bike for 32 years, i knew the previous ( 2nd) owner who bought it from a Suzuki dealer , and its clearly blue in "BIKE" magazine in Feb 1975 . I think you may be confused with another bike and magazine. Regards Roger
