When the service interval is up and I need a new oil filter I have read somewhere on the net that a filter for a 1985 Toyota Camry will do the job, its only £2.99. True or False. Need to sell my CB750 F2 cant get it in the garage, I have an original set of pipes and rechromed fork stanchions + seals. Ride safe. Stuart. Attachments:

We recommend the K&N Hp 1003.
I have heard the toyota thing but cannot confirm...

I've tried the HP1003, about £11 on eBay.
It fits but only just on the 'O' ring. The correct filter is a much better fit.
If you can pick one up for about £30 it's not too much of a cost over two years for average miles.

Lee, I have been using them for 15 years... Never had one fail. I believe they are an excellent filter... I guess that is why there are both apples an oranges... Cheers mate. Best,

I'm using a MicroGard 4967. They are about $4 and come in black with subdued lettering. So far so good.....
