Hoping someone here might be able to help me out of a jam. Wayne has kindly lent me another carb to do some comparison work on my RE. I reinstalled my carb and was trying to set a nice smooth idle. As an experiment I tried swapping pilot screws and was in the process of installing the other screw into my carb and realised far too late that it's very prudent to assemble the pilot screw into its threaded housing before it's screwed back down onto the plunger and the carb. I've managed to gall and strip the thread on my pilot screw housing (part no 13 in the diagram): Does anyone have a junked carb that has a good pilot screw housing lying around anywhere? Thanks Paul

I've been busy with college admission paperwork for my daughter. I'll be in the barn tonight and I will have a look. The other carb is complete I've got to have that part.
