Hello,
I'm doing a reach in restore on my R-E5, if I can reach the part I clean it. I have too many other bikes in boxes so I'm not taking this one fully apart.
A lot of my chrome was rusty but most of it is coming clean with steel wool. Some bolts and nuts are too far gone.
I've purchased a cad plating system so I will be able to clean up the non-chrome bolts/nuts.
Is there a good source for chrome nuts and bolts? I see a lot of great parts on ebay but they are pricey.
Thanks.

Why not consider stainless as an alternative, if you are in the US Ace hardware does sell S/S metric bolts, nuts and washers at reasonable prices.

OK, I will get to an ACE store and check out their inventory. Yes, stainless will work. Thanks.
