I'm in the process of reviving a very early M model (Frame # 10063). It has the brushed aluminum turn signals on the rear but the fronts were replaced with chrome signals as the result of a crash decades ago. Does anyone have an idea how I could put my hands on a pair of early turn signal backs? I also wonder if a plating shop could possibly replate some chrome backs to look like the original. Has anyone tried this? Thanks.

Perhaps take the signals to a shop and see what they say. Once again, Rotary Recycle is the place for that sort of stuff but still offline ATM.
