It's possible to dislodge the end plugs on the eccentric shaft during disassembly. Using a puller with a centre pin can exert enough force to move and/or loosen the plug. It's not unknown for a plug to fall out after abuse. A way to protect the end plugs from a puller can be found here: re5rotary.proboards.com/thread/3039/losing-sump-oil?page=1&scrollTo=21932Member HUDSON has removed a stock right side plug to provide a guide in case a replacement is required. The interference fit is more than you'd expect, around .0011". Measurements are imperial: Plug 0.6318", hole ID 0.6307", plug length 0.515"
