The RE5M gauge wasn't working when I recommissioned the bike. Being lazy and optimistic, I hoped it was the sender and ordered one from Jess. Nope. So, I traced the wiring and did the fault finding thing, as outlined in an older post. Success! the regulator was only passing 1.8v. Another package from Jess later and I'm good to go. But No! it now transpires that the actual gauge is open circuit- grrrrrrrrr Guess what? Another E Mail to Jess Are the gauges serviceable, does anyone know? I'll buy a replacement, but wondered about trying to get this one saved. Still, using the JB weld trick, also in an earlier post, at least I can turn the petrol off, now. On the plus side, the GT750 is running great; out for a run in the winter sunshine: It's a Bridge Club thing, as seen on another old bike site Cheers ATG Paul
