Hello Guy, I think it is being held on the 15th of May hosted by the Smit Brothers. Hans and Alfons Smit invited me in person this year when I was at the German Wankel Treffen, The problem was at the time I had sampled quite a few pints of their beer so it could just as easily be August. I'll drop Hans an email and get back to you. I'll be on something else rotary as my RE 5 wont be ready by then at least I don't think so. Too many other projects on the go. Check out their web site, www.smitbros.nl Hope to see you all there. Regards, Joe.

Hello re5guy,
I've now dropped an email to the Smit Brothers (actually a few days ago) asking for conformation of the show dates. I'm not 100% sure that I have the correct email address so If I haven't received a reply in a week or two I'll ring instead. I suppose we should allow them some time as it's Christmas.
I'll post the reply when I get one.
Happy Christmas.
Regards, Joe.

Hello All, I've received an email this week from the Smit brothers regarding their bike meeting on the Isle of Texel in the Netherlands informing me it has been canceled and re scheduled for next year, 16-17-18 May 2014. It's a shame as we were expecting some great bikes. There is another bike show planned in Assen in the north of Holland, the home of the worlds oldest TT circuit some time in September but I can't work out when. I usually receive an invite around March time so should have some more info soon. See link. www.exotentreffen.nl/Exotentreffen/Home.html This event is for turbo, multi cyclinder, wankel and car engined bikes. I have been twice before and was made to feel very welcome. The organiser Johan Cole has an RE5 and a F1 Sport plus other bikes and is very enthusiastic. He has a few videos on YouTube. Camping is available on site with plenty of beer flowing. Breakfast was supplied along with a barbecue in the evening. A couple of run outs are made going to the bike track which is so close you can hear the bike form the show and a longer ride round to the local tourist spots. I'll post more details when I have them. Regards, Joe.
