I have a silly question....
I have a new check valve from RR and I bought it because I saw a few posts saying that this is a must have to keep your engine alive...
But where does it go? Up on the oil line at the carb or down by the oil pump? And what are you guys using to clamp the hose back on?
TIA

Tomo,
The check valve goes at the top on the carburetor. If you use it at the bottom on the metering pump... It will damage the engine.
You should not need a clip on the line as I designed them to be just a simple slip in replacement.
There is very little line pressure. The end of the valve is barbed and we have not had one leak yet.
Make sure you bleed your pump if you have disconnected any connection to the pump.
If you have more questions, feel free to drop us a line.
Best,
