Hello,
Purchased some small hardware from an OEM parts supplier. Screws, wire ties, etc.
Ordered the radiator hose clamps. They are very close to the originals but on the head of the screw there is a rim around the edge. The originals are flat on the end of the tightening screw....
Should I care about originality or am I splitting hairs?
I guess it comes down to preference...
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks.

I doubt that any judge would even notice, but I guess it depends on who or what you're restoring for.

Edit: while I don't necessarily use exact components on my rider, especially when it comes down to the little stuff, I do keep all the original bits in a box for future projects where an accurate restoration is the object.
