Does anyone have a diagram of the vacuum and fulr line locations where does the second fuel line go? i know where the fuel cock vacuum line goes but not sure where the two vac lines from the carb and the vac switch go slso does the line on the air filter box go to the top of the motor above the generator case any help would be good as all these lines were apart when i got the bike Thanks

I bypass the air box and route the hose elsewhere by plugging the box with a vacuum cap, I don't really care for the motor pulling in moisture from the crankcase. where does the second fuel line go? Are you talking about the vent from the petcock to the tank? |

Yes the carb seems to have only 1 fuel inlet

Yes, there's only one inlet so it's probably the vent your wondering about.

so the fuel pet cock has a vent ehere does the pipe go to?

The petcock has 3 pipes, right side one goes to the bottom of the tank, left side bigger bore outlet goes to the carb and the smaller one behind it goes to the larger nipple on the intake manifold there is a smaller nipple on the manifold by the other one, this one is for the vacuum switch if fitted, if not fitted there should be a small rubber cap on it.

Ok thanks where does the other vac line on the carb go one comes from the top and into the top left of the float bowl but the other about 4" long that has a brass pipe connector but has nowhere to go ?

The two vac lines that emerge from the top of the carby:
Edit: I'm just working on a carby now so I can clarify further. The brass pipe that comes out of the top of the carby casting goes to the enrichment mechanism which has a white plastic nipple- the whole thing sits above the float bowl and I guess that's what you're referrring to.
The other pipe, which is right next to it but comes out of a cylindrical grey casting- this one provides vacuum for the secondary throat actuating mechanism. So it plugs into the pipe that comes out of the top of the bell housing that contains the diaphragm and arm that works your secondary throat. The bell housing should be sitting on top of your carb and be really obvious.
Is this piece missing ?
