The RE5 very well ,may need new front brake lines.
I want to stay with an original look of the factory lines but considering that the current lines are 35 years old, what is a good substitute for brake lines.
I don't see Suzuki as having those lines in stock when I look. Stainless steel lines are nice but they have the period incorrect look to them.
Any suggestions for front brake lines?

Rotary Recycle still has new Suzuki brake lines in stock (last time I checked anyway).
The only difference is that they are missing the little red rubber bands around the banjos but they are as close as you'll get.
I have bought at least 4 complete sets from Sam and Jess and not that long ago.
Give Jess a call.

I have braided SS lines fitted to my GT750. They have a black plastic sleeve over the braid. They're thinner overall than the OEM ones and the fittings are slightly different, but you'd have to be really looking to notice them - from ten feet away they're indistinguishable from standard. Try HEL and see if they do their braided line kits in black. Cheers Paul

Just an addition re the Suzuki lines, I've always noticed that they are slightly shorter. At full extension of the front suspension, they're a little taut but not dangerously so. But otherwise good (I've had them on for about 5,000 klm or more).
I just compared them to some originals and it's the line from behind the fork (where the join is) up to the union which is bolted to the lower triple clamp. These lines are about 1" shorter than original.
