Hello B,
Best of luck with the RE5 restoration.
Remember the golden rule of bike restoration;
'it will cost twice as much and take twice as long as you originally planned!!'
I will follow you blog with interest.
Regards, Mick J

From reading your blog I see that you are concerned about the availability of gaskets, no problem, Rotary Recycle has them and just about everything else you should need.

Hi, looked at you blog today good luck with your restoration, the 5 cables are 1 open and 1 close for the carb, 1 to the oil pump and 1 open and 1 close cable for the port valve hope this answers your question on your blog.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate that. It still seems overly complicated to me but I'll adjust ~B
