I got my air filter is so I can finally ride my bike. I filled it with "regular" 87 octane. But wasn't Regular in 75 89 Octane? Should I drain the gas or is 87% OK?

For my experience and others may vary, I have had best performance running 92-93 octane in all my vintage 2 strokes and will use it in my rotary. Owner's manual is a little less picky and precise. It states: "Gasoline used should be graded 85 to 95 octane in Research Method and should be unleaded or low lead where they are available. It need NOT be any premium -grade gasoline."So there you go....

The 87 octane should be fine. I doubt you would notice any difference with a higher octane.
How was your ride? Wish I could have gone out today but I was busy all day.

I use 87, it uses so much gas the savings add up quickly! Not really, but I do use 87

Re5's and rotaries in general don't care what you run as long as it burns and has lubricants... Use the cheapest stuff
