I have whatever battery that Sam told me to get. WalMart special. It looks like a riding lawn mower battery. Question. Can I put a battery tender on this or since it's not a motorcycle battery per se, I shouldn't??

12 volt battery is a 12 volt. The battery tender is just what you need. Make sure it is a good quality one.( Deltran, Yuasa, )

Thanks. That's kinda what I thought. Now that I think about it the battery tender for my CBX I think was good for a car battery as well. As you say, 12 volts are 12 volts...

I have seven Deltron battery tenders. When a bike comes into the garage (for the most part) they get hooked up to the tender.
