One fellow drove out from Chicago in his REPU and as a Mazda technician basically planted his REPU
Body over an RX8 chassis with all the electronics operating and electronic doors!

Great photos. Some amazing looking Mazdas. I appreciate the tech, skill and labour by the Chicago REPU owner but wonder in the end what he gets from it (other than bragging rights!). The original REPU was pretty well equipped engine wise.

At about 5:25 is the sleeper class winner , I'm 3rd 5:26 to 5:27 There are so many beautiful trucks in all styles of modifications and upgrades and previous
multiple past years winners

This year, a beautiful stock yellow truck that didn't look over 6 months old from new. Thermal reactor intact, quiet, auto choke pops off as intended.

Mazda again showcased their race cars and their newest models inc. a big 3 row SUV with a turbo straight 6. Tim

I've never seen one here in AU. Apparently around 16,000 sold so more successful than the RE5 but the fuel crisis hit hard. Around 14,000 sold in first year and the rest in the remaining years after the fuel crunch.
