I'm in the middle of modifying mine. I have clubman handlebars, and am ordering a cafe style seat. I'll be stripping all unnecessary stuff, and most of the bike is going black. I'm planning to do a custom exhaust, but haven't decided exactly what to do with it. I think I'll also do a small fairing. I was going to swap to a different carb setup, but decided to just rebuild the stocker. I'll post some pics when I make progress.

Looking forward to seeing it when you are done...
Customization is a very individual thing. I always appreciate what others come up with.
If we can help... Let us know.
Best,
Jess

Sam once told me that a fellow gave him a "blank check" to do performance mods...
After copius amounts of $ (turbo charging, porting, exhaust) They were able to get 90 rear wheel HP...
I think it worked out to about $250.00 per 1Hp gained... Not real economical in my book... but hey... Love to hear what you try...
Best,
Jess
P.S. That Gold wing is incredible... Thanks for sharing!

The main thing that I'm interested in playing with is porting it out a bit and lightening the rotor. I really think it would be fun to be able to rev it higher than stock. That is one of the rotary is known for after all. Soon as a find a spare motor to pick up, I'll prob play with the porting. For the rotor, I'll have to send it off somewhere. There was a post about a guy that ported an RE5, but I don't remember if it was on this forum or another.
