Hi All, Thanks for letting me join.
I thought it best to introduce myself up front.
My name is Bruce Patterson and I live in Sydney Australia, I'm 57 and have ridden all my life.
In the last 20 odd years I started collecting and restoring bikes that I lusted after but couldn't afford as a young fella.
I currently have some nice bikes at home, some I purchased as projects and restored myself and others I got as good riders.
None of my bikes are show quality more great looking (from a few mtrs away) riders that I have on historic rego and putter around on on weekends
I currently have the following bikes
1999 Copper bronze Hayabusa 2004 Velocity stage 2 Turbo Hayabusa 2008 1441 Jaffa Hayabusa 2018 Kawasaki H2 supercharged 1986 Suzuki RG500 2002 Aprilia RS250 x 3 1980 Honda CB900F2B I purchased new 1984 Honda CB1100RD 1982 Suzuki SXZ1100 wire wheel Katana x 3 1980 Honda CBX1000 1984 Kawasaki Z1300DFI 1974 Kawasaki KZ900
I am really keen to add a first model RE5 to the collection, I built a rotary road car many years ago (10a into a 1963 Honda S600 convertible) so have a little bit of experience with rotors.
If anyone is interested in selling or knows of anyone with a nice original RE5 rider for sale in Australia please let me know.
Looking forward to learning a lot more about these quirky old girls.
Bruce

Welcome Bruce. I know of someone in the deep south of the US who would probably sell you one. It'd be pretty nice too but with the AU dollar the way it is..... price could be ugly.
At the moment, in AU, I don't know of any for sale.
Maybe Al? Were you thinking or have you already sold one of yours? I've just asked another contact, if something turns up I'll let you know.

Blackzook check this out at Brad's Vintage Cycle Sales- something weird about the instrument mount but otherwise tidy. Seat covers a bit funny, not convinced it's an original seat as claimed, probably an AM seat cover.
