Regarding the thermo switch replacement, I recently purchased a Honda CRX switch from a local auto parts store. My last experience was using a Beck Arnley switch from Amazon and it turned on the fan at the halfway mark on the gauge. Some of you felt that was too early. The switch I just installed turned on the fan just as the gauge needle touched the final white mark on the gauge. In other words, just before the red area. My hand held thermometer showed the fan turned on around 185F. Personally, I like to see the temperature gauge reading around halfway to make me comfortable but you may want to try this other switch if you want to delay the fan operation. It is a Duralast part # SW504.
