Does anyone know the standard sprocket sizes and further, i see there are 530 conversions available from the stock 630. Why would people do that, what is the advantage? Thanks.

It's 14-43.
The conversion to 530 is mainly about availability. The 630 is pretty much dead and the 530 readily available. There is no practical advantage beyond that.

I guess a lighter chain will rob less power from engine to rear wheel so may be worth a couple of bhp?

It's debatable, and essentially a moot point.
As Wayne says above, it's all about availability nowadays - a 630 setup is a bit harder to find and generally more expensive for no reason other than originality, if that's your thing. You will neither break, nor have an appreciably shorter service life from a smaller (530) set of chain and sprockets - you simply aren't dealing with large enough amounts of torque, HP or weight to warrant the larger chain and sprockets.
If you're really worried about (maybe) a couple of HP coming or going from a 40-odd HP bike that already weighs well over 200 kg, just make sure you have a decent bowel movement before every ride.
It will make more of a difference than most other things...

I beg to differ, My blue one goes like a Blue Streak. Bring your bike to California and find out who is fast! Jeff

I guess a lighter chain will rob less power from engine to rear wheel so may be worth a couple of bhp? There is no appreciable difference in weight if you compare the 630 chain and sprockets vs the same in 530. And yes, I have weighed them.
