I was just doing a test assembly of the ignition switch case and the bracket and top yoke. I was surprised to find that the ignition switch case is held to the bracket by a couple of 4mm (m4) screws which are only 6mm long. No problem I thought I would check the parts list to see what it should be.
As far as I can see there is no part no's for these 2 screws. So I have used 2, 12mm long, m4 stainless screws with a m4 washer.
Its a trivial thing but does anybody know if there was a part number?. This case is only held on by these 2 screws and seems a bit flimsy. But in RE5 world its not the biggest problem.

I didn't see any part #s for the M model either. I did see these for the A model. ( not the biggest problem), I like that. Tim 35 02112-0406B ! SCREW $1.28 36 08321-0104A ! LOCK WASHER $1.51

I never thought to look at the "A" model. They are the same as the ones on my bike. But I used 12mm ones instead in the end. It seems a bit stronger. I sometimes find it a battle to locate where on the parts list items are............. The top radiator mount point cushion (p/n 09329-10009) I thought would be in the "Radiator" parts list. Fat chance its actually in the "Fuel Tank" parts list and called a "stopper". Suzuki do have a sense of humor.

I am not sure that Suzuki was laughing when they shut the RE5 production down. Jeff
