It's been a while since I've been on, but I'm still around, still got 4 units with the hope to someday make one good one. Had some health issues last year which strained the budget. Did a little work on my "A" model last week end, but my biggest news is my new "toy." Picked up a 1965 T10 with 693 miles on it. Unit is all original except for the grips and battery. Electric starter fires it right off. Bought it from the original owner, a fellopw employee whose wife had him thinning the herd. Those of you who've been around a while might remember him as he is the gentleman who gave me a working RE5 compression tester. As soon as I remember how, I'll post some pictures. Found out this morning that the fellow I bought it from was actually the 3rd owner, but he's had it since 1979. He bought it at a garage sale from a family friend who got it from the original owner. Both those gentleman are deceased now. It's actually still running the 15:1 pre-mix recommended for break-in since the mileage is so low. As soon as I track down a sealed beam so I have a headlight I'll see if I can get it broken in the rest of the way. Took it for a short hop down my street last night and it runs sweet. It's a little weird getting used to a drum front brake again. :-)

If you are careful, you might keep it under 700 miles. LOL. Enjoy. Jeff

Are you going to take it back to the dealer for the first service?
