I have just imported from america a RE5M 1974 that i wish to restore, The biggest part we can see missing is the carb. Can anybody tell me where i can get one or the biggest part of the body to be going on with any help or advice on fitting a different carb would be most gratefully received.Cheers Jim.

hi there ,new to these web sites and have tried emailing you about the re5 carb.i am in England but am happy to pay the postage for the carb,could you possibly send some pictures and a price including the postage to england. Thanks again jim.

If you're not obsessed with originality you could fit another carburettor. I use a SU HIF38 in mine and it runs it really well. Had to make an adaptor block out of ali but once bolted up, runs the bike really well. I've kept the original carby in a bag to keep Wayne happy of course...
