Hi,
my fuel petcock had a cracked vacuum diaphragm and some leaks.
Last week I discovered that the GT750 had (at least) two petcock models and one of them (black colored) is very easy to find as new on ebay (many to sell).
The body is quite different, but the vacuum diaphragm and the near parts are the same. This is true also for various gaskets and the front tap parts.
I received mine this morning and now my old RE5 petcock is like new with the new GT750 petcock parts. It works perfectly and is still automatic.

Lovely bike Glenn. Like my one I traded in with the late intakes. Wish I had an exhaust cone for yours.
Sounds like we can add the fuel petcock internals for the GT-750 B that will fit the RE5 to rebuild. Thanks Grosours.

Just found out that only the front fork tubes from a GT750L are the same as fitted on the RE5. They have exactly the same length. Also the lower parts are the same.
