Hi Could someone tell me how many chrome covers went over the radiator hose clamp. I have 4 but am unsure as some phones show one ,some multiple. It would be a good chance to re install while doing cooling system clean and flush. Also what is the knack if there is one,to put them on without putting them out of shape. Regards Kerry

Kerry 4 shown in parts book . quite often there are 3 fitted as the one on top hose under the tank is not fitted because unless you get the hose clamp in the correct place it will not fit and the clamp will foul the edge of the petrol tank. They have a lipped edge that go over the end of the hose. spend a bit of time correctly placing the clamps so the bolts or out of view and then the covers should push on ok .

Rodger When you say push on it doesn't look like they would push on with out putting them out of shape. I was going to try and fit up clamp and cover on hose first before pushing hose on housings. Then align clamp and do up,correct me if wrong. Regards Kerry

See pipe clamps ( Bolts are Blind) from the front view and clear from the edge of the petrol tank and then the covers pushed over making sure the folded end of the covers are clear from the pipe,

Kerry, they look much nicer with 4 and that's how they were probably intended. The bikes Suzuki had at shows seem to have had 4.
However the bikes were sold with only 1 from very early on if not from day 1. Any test article from back in the day where you can make it out, there seems to be only one. Dress it up as you like.

Just a note Kerry. Modern replacement pipes are thicker than the Suzuki ones , I have seen owners use GT 750 covers (that are readily available) on modern replacement thicker pipes.
