To the Rotary Community:
In re: Sam Costanzo’s letter of 7/16/2009
Thanks to all for their encouragement and support both publicly and privately. I am honored by my friend Sam Costanzo in both words and action. He has my deepest respect, friendship and admiration for without his efforts for the last thirty years, the Suzuki Re5 and Hercules W-2000 would be relegated to a footnote in motorcycle history.
I have been fortunate to have been able to learn from the “Zen Master” of Rotary motorcycles, and I recognize that his knowledge and skill are without question unsurpassed. I am certain that I will never attain the knowledge and skill that Sam has, but I will do my best to serve the Rotary Community to the best of my ability following his retirement.
It is difficult to describe the enormity of the task, so I ask for your patience and understanding over the next few months. Transportation, setup and logistics for an operation of this magnitude are exceedingly complicated, at best. At present, I project that I will be open and operating normally from Rotary Recycle’s new 22,000 square foot facility by the middle to end of September, 2009. I will keep the community updated.
I feel both humbled and privileged that Sam has chosen me to carry the “rotary torch” and continue Rotary Recycle USA. Again, I ask for your patience and understanding during this transitional period. I hope to serve the Rotary Community with the same level of service and commitment to excellence that has been the hallmark of Rotary Recycle for many years to come.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Jess Stockwell
