Wayne... I seem to remember those $2K wheels were new in the box. Maybe I'll hit the lottery and will be able to buy them.

I have an old file picture that came with the bike. Looks like it was a one-off show bike back in the day. Someone spent a lot of money building this bike. I'll scan and post the pix sometime. It's be cool if I could fine some show history or an old feature on it.

If it was local I'd consider making this guy an offer. You also get a "parts book" kick start with it. For a few hundred bucks it'd be worth it for the Lesters.
And hey ! Look at those touring pegs.
