Now that I have rebuilt my front brake calipers, they are either warped or worn oddly. Vibration. I'll look closer. Are these rotors pretty standard that I can get anywhere? Do I need to get them from Sam?
About how much money are we talking for 2 new rotors?
Do people grind them or just replace them?

Upon further study my brake rotors (disks) are fine. I had clamped down too hard on the axle nut and that had the brake caliper hitting the rotor on some rivets. Of course that leads to another question. How hard can/should the front axle nut be tightened? I wonder of I need some spacers since I can't tighten this nut much or the calipers don't fit right. The service manual doesn't mention this. Always questions....

Does your front axel have the internal bearing spacer? You shouldn't be able to tighten the front wheel until it binds...
P.S. Brake rotors are stainless, They need to be surface ground.
Best,
Jess
