Just to tidy the screen up and hide the glue when I do it, I've put a black border on the inside of the screen. I used a proper paint pen, not a black marker! Makes a really neat line. Nearly....

Yes the buggy is pretty cool. Of course it's my son's.... he appears to have quite a collection now of nitro and electric buggies, helicopters and planes... Oh and thanks re the screen- it'll probably be the best bit on the bike!

Fantastic looking screen. Is your rebuilt proper unit running yet?

Is your rebuilt proper unit running yet? Fraid not. Been busy doing house work and spending time with the kids so bike work comes a very distant third! It's all in, I just need to put the clutch cover etc back on. Still debating whether to make up a primary chain guide or not for the tension/drive side to help with the legendary rattle.

Excellent work! Now that you're experienced, how about making one for my M? ;D

Well if you pop over, finish polishing my clutch cover, install it, rebuild my carburettor, get it running and all tuned up then yes I'll do one for you! I'm thinking of making up a jig to cut the old screen out and also accurately cut the new screen. If I succeed I may consider doing a few for other people. The problem for you guys outside Australia is the cost of postage both ways so I'd encourage you to have a go yourself...

If I could figure out a way to get to Oz I'd do it in a heartbeat. I always wanted to visit. I guess now I have another reason.

You shouldn't travel alone. I had better go with you. And I don't even need a lens. If I could figure out a way to get to Oz I'd do it in a heartbeat. I always wanted to viist. I guess now I have another reason.
