I sent an email to all members of the board about inactive accounts. If you have never posted a message on the board or logged in for a long time or only have a post or 2, months ago please watch for this email. Let me know if you fall into this category and didn't receive it. I'm about ready to do my annual cleanup of inactive accounts. Those who have logged in recently and those who have posted can ignore this communication. Also, please let me know your user id on here if you reply.

I probably worded the email wrong. It was just for people who have never posted and these people have never logged in to there account. Those who have only a post or 2 and these people with 1 or 2 posts haven't logged in for a long time, I might delete there accounts. Anyone else can ignore my email. So that means that any of these people that I am referring to can just log in. I will see that they logged in recently and not do anything with there account. I hope this explains what I am asking.
Previous years I would email everyone singly if I was considering removing there account but that takes a lot of time sending out the emails and then waiting around a month to see if they reply.

Hello I get on this board at least a few times a week. I have never seen my name at the bottom in members online in the last 24 hours.I checked in the profile settings, and didn't see any settings to change. Not a big deal, just don't want to get thrown out due to being inactive. Thanks Larry

The only accounts that I delete are the ones who have been members for over a year and have never posted on the message board and never logged in or haven't logged in for over a year. A member can have zero posts and just log in once in awhile and I won't cancel the account as long as they have logged in during the past year.
On the main members list I can see the last time each member has logged in so no concern about if your user id shows on the home page in the last 24 hours or not.

Just a reminder to those members who have accounts but have never posted on the forum, I do go through the member list once in awhile looking for members who have joined but never posted or logged in for over a year and when I find these accounts I delete them. If you want to keep your account active all that you have to do is log in. If I see that a member has logged in during the past year, even if they have zero posts, I don't delete the account.

This is for no log in's for the past year combined with zero posts since becoming a member. You have 19 posts so no concerns.

I didn't see the mail about the inactive accounts. Please keep my account alive. My RE5 started for the first time in my workshop a few days ago, and I have now to solve a petcock leaking problem.
Best regards

I'm still out here, although I haven't been on the site in yonks, due to career change. Went from management to over the road truckie. I mothballed the RE when I came across a mint H2 750 Kaw at a ridiculously cheap price. The RE sits patiently in the garage next to a pile of new parts. Eventually......
Cheers, Christopher
