Checking to see if there is any interest in RE5 owners living in Southern California getting together to meet and discuss our bikes with one another. I am not sure how many people are in the So. Cal. area, but I would think there are enough here to organize. Any thoughts? Jeff

Is there no interest is So. Cal to have a meeting of RE5 owners?

Well, if you want to ride out to New York, we can meet in my garage. I'll provide beer and a place to sleep...
LOL!

Jeff,
I can vouch for Al... He is a good fellow. I enjoyed the time he spent at RR...
We are always up for visitors and enjoy showing the museum.
Not in SoCal... But in the South??? Does that count ;D
Best,

I guess we could organize one big pub crawl. Start in New York, go south and end up in So Cal. Everybody get your bikes in tune. Who knows who we will pick up along the way.

Thanks Jess. I loved checking the place out....
Me: "I think they make really small rotary engines for model planes". Jess: "You mean, like THIS?" And he hands me one mounted on plexiglass with a propeller on it!
Ya. I had a GREAT day!
I'm getting into the busy time of year for me at work, so my RE won't be ready till the spring at least.
Perhaps a pilgrimmage to Tennessee is in order for us. I do such things with two other groups I belong to. Corvettes and Heating guys.

Count me as So Cal RE5 owner. Just bought running/ridable M and now accumulating restoration parts. Rotary Recycle in my future.

Feel free to contact me, Jeff. I'm not an expert at these forums, but I presume that you can send a message to a specific member. Brian

One of our original members when the site first started, tom93gts, is from Arizona and may be interested if he sees this thread. He does stop in once in awhile and I assume that he still has his RE5. You could also send him a pm by going to the member list and finding his id. He's a really good guy.
