Hi Wayne, I have used stuff epoxy sort of stuff call "Devcon"on mine about 6 years ago. Still good. I think black woods here sells it, but not sure of costs and you only really need a little. My brother got me some thru RAAF where he worked at the time.

I've used Devcon in various applications over the years and it's a brilliant product. My only concern is that sounds a lot like JB weld which doesn't seem to last. However, 6 years is a good run.
That aviation sealant I used to repair 3 units and two are now immersed in fuel and have been in tanks for around 4 months so I'm hoping it will last. I have one more tube but am waiting to accumulate enough level guages to justify opening it.

For the first time in 15 years I got to ride my bike yesterday. This morning the garage smelled of gas. With the talk of the sensor leaks I had put Red Kote around the the seal where the wire comes through to the outside. I thought the rubber washers around the bolts looked good but that seems to be where the leak was. I took the bolts out one at a time and coated the washers and bolts with Permatex Black Rubber Sealant #80338. So far not a hint of leak. I used the permatex so the bolts could be removed if necessary. I hope this holds up.
