I took my "new" '75 RE-5 out for a spin today since I put some oil in the gas and felt safe. I ran it a couple of miles and the temp gauge was just starting to move. I did get some water leakage. More than trivial. The hose to and from the radiator look OK so I don't think the leak is from there.
The fan came on as I was shutting it down, so that works for now anyway.
Are local radiator people OK to take it to? Can they easily screw it up? Is there anything special for them to know?
Thanks!

How is the hose off the bottom of the filler neck? Mine was completely shot while the rest look like new.

You will have to find someone who is willing to work on an all aluminum radiator...
Difficult... so good luck.
Suzuki Ran Bars stop leak in the cooling system from the factory.
You might try that.
Best,
