Really Cool. I could get into watching your bike racing. You should take some movies of a race and put them on youtube. Very interesting!!

Good to see that you got the pictures posted. ;D Your RE5 is really cool. I have never heard of anyone road racing an RE5. How often do you race and how well does the bike perform at the races? A movie of the bike at the races would be very interesting to watch if you ever get the chance to make one.

How does the carb conversion account for the butterfly valve in the housing? Does it get removed? or wired open? Thats a really nice looking setup.

Superb!
I have started down the track of installing an FCR to my RE5.
I have made a manifold that should work reasonably well, and the other fittings aren't too difficult to arrange.
The area I'm having real trouble with is jetting. The bike will idle ok, but as soon as I open the throttle it stalls.
What size pilot and main jets are you using in your carb, and where do you have the accelerator pump set?
Any info greatly appreciated - I really want to get the bike running well with this carb and pass my experiences on to others. I feel this could be a reasonably inexpensive upgrade/alternative to the stock carb for those who aren't absolute sticklers for originality.
Thanks Paul
