Hi guys, I am looking for a nos rear mudguard/fender for my 75 m re5 uk,I’ve had mine but am not that happy with it, I know it’s probably a long shot but thought somebody somewhere might know of something,
There was one that sat on ebay for a long time around 6 months to year ago, possibly from the Netherlands. I had it "watched" and don't recall it ever selling. It may give some guidance to your 'net searches.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up on that, I also saw that one and was tempted to buy it, I think it was in the region of £500 gbp which at the time I thought was way too expensive, but after spending a little over £200 gbp on having mine rechromed and not being at all happy with it, maybe the new one wasn’t so bad price wise after all.
If you are unhappy with a rechromed rear fender, you are not going to be happy with an NOS fender, as chrome is about 50 times better today than it was in 1975.
Frankly, the chrome on the Re5 was pretty bad from the factory, but that was the norm at the time.
As an aside, I always find it amusing that folks think an NOS part is “too expensive”. A 40 plus year old NOS part that is model specific is worth whatever the seller will sell it fo4, as where are you going to find another?
I have a few NOS fenders, both front and rear. They are worth a whole lot more than 500 GBP to me.
Folks seem to forget they only made 6300 units.
Again, no offense meant.
