I have had a few requests for me to build some more electronic ignition units.
Mine replaces the unobtainable points and cdi with a Hall effect trigger.
It is a plug and play unit and does not require drilling a hole or cutting a wire.
A competent person can install it in under 2 hours from start to finish.
I checked with the manufacturer and they are still willing to do a small run of 10. Cost, has gone up since the last time I made these and the completed unit will be about $550.00 plus shipping.
I will require a $250.00 deposit for each unit if we can reach 10. After that, I should have them in hand and ready to ship in 60 days.
If you are interested, leave a note in this thread and once we get to 10, I will contact you.
I will ask the administrator to leave the thread open until May 15,2019. If I don’t have ten signed on by then, the project will be abandoned.
Questions? Feel free to ask. I have made these before and never had one returned or a failure. I believe they make a world of difference in the bike. Others may disagree, and that is their perogative.
