In the early stages of planning a get together for the week of August 13th -18th Monday thru Friday morning.
Similar to past events we will ride loop tours during the week.

Hi everyone, our 2017 rally is coming together. We have a great location in the middle of the Bighorn National Forest. Our accommodations are at the Bear Lodge Resort , 5600 US 14 ALT, Dayton Wyoming 82836. We have a block of rooms reserved for Lemans America. Rooms will be $99 per night which includes taxes & fees, ask for Roberta or John @ 307 752 8444.
Arrive Sunday, 13 August and departure Friday, 18 August 2017.
The Lodge sits atop the Bighorn Mountain Range at 8300 ft elevation. Cody rests below, the mountains fork, forming a canyon with the Shoshone river cascading along the roads edge as we descend into Cody. Cody opens before you and the Shoshone then spills into Yellowstone National Park. The scenery and roads are motorcycling's best, similar to the Oak Creek Canyon ride from Flagstaff to Sedona when were at the Arizona rally.
The Lodge comes highly recommended by my snowmobiling friends and promises a great point of departure for our daily journeys. One of the Lodge's specialties is Mikes famous homemade pies, tour buses make it a stop along the way just for dessert. Sounds like a little slice of Lemans heaven. There are numerous places of interest in Cody starting with the Buffalo Bill Center, which is actually three museums in one. One chronicles Buffalo Bills life, another the Indian culture of the area, and a third that focuses on the firearms that were used in Buffalo Bills lifetime. The admission to the Buffalo Bill Center includes a two day ticket so we can come and go as we please. In town Ermas Hotel, founded and run by Buffalo Bill's daughter Erma is a thoroughly renovated site displaying period artwork and memorabilia and also offering a tasteful dining experience. Erma has long passed but her family legacy lives on.
The big event ticket is the Cody Cattle Company which offers a chuck wagon style dinner along with a dinner show featuring WESTERN music all followed by an evening RODEO. Just in case any adventurous Lemans folks want to ride the Bull! Also in town are wild west shows which include reenactment of those western gunfights we all enjoy.
Cody has a lot more places of interest but just outside of town the landscape unfolds into beautiful Yellowstone National Park. When we are not exploring in town, we can take advantage of the parks great motorcycling roads and majestic scenery.
Seniors 62 and older may get a Senior Pass at any National Park for $10 that covers you for lifetime admission to all National Parks. You can also order online at USGS Store.com which will charge an extra $10 for shipping.
All in all this looks like another great Lemans adventure, looking forward to seeing you all soon
Please let Tim know if you will be attending.
