I am tempted to build one as well. How does it attach to the shaft? Rubber tube that fits over it? Magnets? Anyone have a picture of the mounting attachment? (Although I'd buy one if they were still available and reasonably priced)

I used a piece of threaded tube, with the outside diameter machined down so it fits through the outer case and screws to the end of the threaded shaft

Ok threaded tube sounds like a good way of going about it. I have access to a lathe so that will allow me to machine it down. Thanks!
