Hi guys
Im having difficulty removing the bearing off the contact breaker points shaft. The one currently on the shaft is OK, but I've replaced every other bearing in the bike and while the thing is apart I figure this is the time to do it. Gentle persuasion doesn't seem to budge it, and there is minimal space to get any kind of puller in behind it. Has anyone found a way to coax it off?
cheers

I did mine years ago but can't remember it being an issue. Have you tried heating the housing with a heat gun then trying to remove the bearing?

No, not yet but that will be the next thing I'll try once I find someone with a beat gun to borrow. I've got a spare shaft that I'm trying it on first, just in case I can't get it to budge and end up f#%£ing the bearing.
