Hello,
I hope this finds everyone well.
I'm dealing with 2 issues with my RE5-A, and I would appreciate your help.
1 - The fuel tank unit of the fuel reserve warning light is not working. Can I get an original or a replacement anywhere?
2 - I feel a vibration (feels like a metallic scratch) when the clutch lever is fully released, it happens in all speeds but is very noticeable in NEUTRAL. Any clues of what may be wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Rafael.

Do a search here as others have listed the size of the thermistor and you can solder in a new one if necessary. It may just be your cluster bulb. Others may help ,too.
Some low frequency vibration and felt in the pegs is sometimes noticeable in neutral with the clutch disengaged. This may be partly due to the massive size and when depressing the clutch lever, an additional support on the end helps smooth things out. Check if you have a magnet on the trans drain plug, inspect and keep a good quality transmission gear lube in there. In all speeds, how is your drive chain? Any wear there will amplify the inherent vibrations of the bike. Others may help.

First of all, thank you for replying my post.
I have tested the warning light system, it's the fuel tank unit that's faulty for sure. I don't know what a thermistor is, but I'll look into it.
My bike me was sitting for a long time when I bought it, it had a faulty CDU, and after I managed to get it running again, I replaced the transmission oil for 20-50. I don't think the problem is related to the drive chain because I feel it mostly when the bike is not in motion. The drive chain was adjusted and lubricated.
But you're right, it is felt in the pegs, and also in the grips.

I have just found the topic about the thermistor. Got it.
Now I just need some solid help about the clutch.

Could be a bad bearing in the gearbox. My input shaft bearing was bad with quite a bit of play- not too bad to replace with engine in bike still.
Someone else also recently said that the steel band around their clutch basket was loose and rubbing on the inside of the clutch cover- worth looking at.

I got a noise that would match that description when the sprags in the clutch were worn. Then, one fine day, the sprags rotated enough to keep the starter engaged while the engine was running. Bye-bye starter.

Thanks guys. Now I need to decide if I'll wait and see or try to fix the noise it with the engine in place.
By the way, the fuel level sender decided to repair itself.
