The replacement electronic ignitions are ready to ship, as well as the carburetor check valves.
Every single Re5 that is running an original check valve should have the valve replaced as you are playing Russian roulette with your engine. It is not a question of if the original will fail, but when. The valve takes less than five minutes to replace, and is cheap insurance against motor destruction.
The electronic ignition is 100% plug and play and replaces the coil, points and CDI. It can be installed with simple hand tools in under two hours and provides a much stronger, more consistent spark. If you would like one or more of either, the directions follow:
Ignition kits are 500.00
Check valves are 75.00

We have 10 Ignitions left...
If you have posted in the past that you want one....PLEASE step up and keep your commitment.
The costs to produce small runs are staggering. All of the cost are "out of pocket, up front expense" on my part. It would be different if I could make 100 or 500 units... It would still be a great deal of money. but unit costs come down significantly.
Making 15 to 20 units, I have to rely upon the good will of the supplier to fit it in, as just setting up your machines to make the parts takes a great deal of time and therefore costs...
I look at it this way... A used CDI is 400.00 and you have no idea how long it will run before it fails. This kit replaces the CDI and points for a fool proof reliable system. It should out live me.
I appreciate the support.
Regards,

Mike, you'll have to go down to a local a Western Union office (NZ Post is one), fill in a form, be sure to take drivers license, another form of ID, AND something with your home address on it, eg power account. Be prepared for a horrendous W.U. fee on top of what you're exchanging!
Where in NZ are you?
