Went to the 15th annual Riding into History Show at the World Golf Village in St Augustine, Fl this weekend. Decent show. Not quite as large as some in the past, but lots of nice old iron. One RE5M. Talked to the owner for quite some time, but I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't get his name. He says he comes on here and I know he's from Indiana, but here are some pictures of his very nice RE5M Attachments:

My project is somewhat stagnated. I have a carb, disassembled and cleaned once, but probably needs another before re-assembly. A master cylinder stripped, but not yet re-built, and too many projects. We just finished our annual Memorial day BBQ. Attendance was "down" to 37 this year. My train layout has been re-located to a back bedroom and expanded from 40 to 52 square feet. It was in big demand for demos during the BBQ. I pressure washed my driveway and then my 104 foot dock, then managed to stain and seal most of it before the party. Since I also work full time it doesn't leave much time for the RE. It seems every time I think I'm going to get something done, something else comes up. I haven't given up, though. Thanks for asking. Every time I see a bike like the one I posted here it tends to motivate me to get back on it.

Thank you for the update Gerry. On really big projects I try to do at least one task (no matter how small) at least once a week. Eventually you make real progress. It also helps to stay inspired by going to vintage motorcycle shows & hanging out with like minded friends. If you lived closer to me I would let you take my RE for a ride. It really is running beautifully

I would love to be able to do one project a month. I guess I'm over extended. Working full time and having a large piece of property that requires a lot of upkeep take most of my time, especially here in Florida during the summer. It doesn't help that we are short handed at work and I have weeks like last week where I worked 55 hours.
