Ok looking for opinions. Looking for bench grinder / buffer. 6” vs. 8”, horse power?

It all depends on what you will use it for Ron... I have been very happy with tools from Grizzley (sp). Most of their stuff is chinese but a step up from harbor freight. I have one wilton 8" grinder that is probably 20 years old. I have a harbor freight buffer that is at least 10 years old. Buffers and grinders are different... the shafts are much longer on buffers. I paid 99 bucks for my buffer 3/4 horse and does a good job. If you want to go first class, Baldor makes a hell of a buffer... but you will pay for it. Ask yourself, how much you will use the tool, and then pay accordingly. a couple hours a month... harbor freight.... every other day for ten years... Baldor. Just my 2 cents... Your mileage may vary Jess
