Evening All, another good turnout in the RE5 department, six bikes in a row, must be a record in this country and probably many others. Lots of interest from the public and Guy's bike won second best in show. A very enjoyable outing and only broke down once on the way home (I'll have to make a proper connection on my points the wire keeps earthing against the distributor side) Regards Stuart Attachments:

Well done. Six in a row is an accomplishment anywhere. Congratulations to Guy.
Sorry to hear you broke down. I try and avoid any issues in public, all the uninitiated are just chafing at the bit to have the beliefs and rumours substantiated.
I was the only RE5 at a large rally yesterday and had a plug fail on the ride. Fixed in 5 minutes (always carry a spare) but everyone is probably knowingly nodding heads about the RE5 which "broke down".
Generally though, most people are impressed with their reliability and performance.

Everybody's ganging up on me, even the photograph of my bike has been defaced, lot and lots of laughs ;D
It's nice at last to not be the odd one out at any meeting, show or event.

DITO Mike. There's only 5 bikes in your photo. Who's stolen Guy's Super Show Bike ?I have seen Sheila's Blog with great photo's I have tried upjetting with no look at all, it has just made the bike slower. I'm still getting that missfiring , and hessitation , i think they are not connected and will look at the coil/points and the cable settings/ regards Rog
