Max revs and dump the clutch? It'll be exciting and I guarantee something will happen. If you do decide to do it, make sure someone is recording it...

I got the clutch unstuck by cable tying the lever in and letting the bike run and warm up so the oil got hot and hey presto it is now unstuck and working perfect

thxs canam my commander is the actual bike that was road tested by the mags in the uk in 1990 it has now done 52000 miles and still going well, smoother than the re5 faster and better on fuel but I still prefer the quirkiness of my re5's lol

That's impressive Mike, 52K and still strong. My one brief ride in the UK showed me how much better, faster, smoother they were. But rare as the proverbial rocking horse **** down here. But I still love my hydro electric plant on wheels, someone's gotta.

he was actually a dealer so he knew what he was selling, you pestered him enough to sell it to you but I had already agreed the deal with him and at least I have now sorted all its problems and bike is ready for its m.o.t,and as for you saying to rog that I had it for sale you are totally wrong I never sell any re5 I buy

I talked to the man on the phone a few times and he asked me what it was worth ...I said 2500-3000 as a non running UK bike..He had problems remembering what day it was never mind any thing else ...I did not text Rog you were selling it just that i knew of the bike you had brought..Think he miss read my text..Am just saying the bloke had a medical problem/elderly and i was honest to its true value
