I had a Triumph 955i Daytona and switching off with the kill switch was a bad move. Apparently, the ECU computer thought the bike was still running when it was turned off and it was sometimes almost impossible to start when the kill switch was turned back on. It was recommended in the manual, in bold type, that the kill switch should only be used in emergencies. But that was a modern bike with an ECU
