Steve, I have removed the Thermostat as there was signs of it overheating with Top hose starting to bulge and fan not turning on , may be it pressurizing from Proper unit because the Stat removal has made no affect at all ,and the water drained out of unit was very Rusty/ Dirty and smelley, Rog

If you pull the 2 wires off the sensor on the water inlet and bridge them together the fan will run constantly.

Thanks Steve , But i thiink its more intence with the system getting over presserized i think. May be i could pressure test it from the other way ?? would this test the Proper unit ?? or just the Radiator / hoses etc, Rog

I suppose you could pull both hoses and then blank the outlet off then fashion something to fit the inlet tube that allows you to pump air in and hold it there to see if it leaks away, a lot off hassle though.
